OmahaJames
I was having some trouble with the radio so I decided I am going to replace it and I have since removed it from the dashboard but there where a few wires connected to it that I am not sure what they are for. Here are the wires I know A blue wire that connects for the power, the radio has a fuse connected here too. 2 gray wires going to what as far as I can tell is the only speaker in the car, mounted just above it in the dash pad. The antenna wire There are 2 red wires coming out of the radio connected to a red/white wire and a green/white wire, but I am not sure what these are for, perhaps this is for the light in the radio? Here is a photo of those wires behind the dashboard, if anyone knows what these are for please let me know. Also I should probably replace the speaker too, does anyone know what the size of the speaker in the dashboard is? 3.5"? Quote Link to comment

ericsb210
I believe the wire set on the left hoes to the warning light system and the cwnter wire is for the lighter. Only the right wore set goes to the radio Quote Link to comment
OmahaJames
From left to right here are the wires blue/red, blue/white, and black go to the rear defrost switch black and green wires go to the warning light blue wire is the power for the radio red/white and green/white go to radio, but I'm not sure why. green/white and green go to the flasher green/white, black/yellow and black go to the buzzer there is a red wire behind the mysterious wires going to the radio that I also have no idea what it is for, I don't think it was connected to anything when I removed the dashboard. the cigar lighter wires are not shown, they are off to the right of this photo.
