Thisolddatsun Posted May 13, 2015 Report Share Posted May 13, 2015 So my ball joints are needing to be replaced and I wouldnt mind getting some stronger ones. But was wondering are all the balljoints the same for 720s? Mine is a 1981. I know when you do the popular disk break conversion its balljoint to balljoint on the knuckle to swap. Where would you guys recommend and what balljoints do you guys recommended using? Also any advice on replacing the balljoints you can give would be appreciated as well. Really would like some ball joints that can take a beating and last awhile. Quote Link to comment
84720FourWheel Posted May 13, 2015 Report Share Posted May 13, 2015 Go with Moog brand ball joints. Best ones on the market that I know of. Otherwise Nissan OEM. Get tension on the joint with a pickle fork, air powered ones are the tits, and then give the knuckle some good solid whacks with like a 48 oz hammer. And don't forget to give everything a good greasing while you are there. Quote Link to comment
