Hey guys im in the last few steps of my build and am having a hell of a time trying to find the alt bracket, tensioner, and thermostat housing from the sohc ka. Went to my local junkyards this past weekend and struck out and called a few contacts through my work that i have had success with before and struck out once again. Does anybody have spares of these parts lying around or can point me in the right direction or maybe even a different method of doing it. Any help would be appreciated.

The thermostat cover is highly sought after for DE engine swaps because it is shorter and gives more room for the rad.

Yes I am aware of that and honestly that is not the hard part to find because you can buy them brand new, it is the mount and tensioner. Also thanks for the tip to check the classifieds, I never would of thought of that.....(note the sarcasm.)

I wanna say like $70.. Don't really remember though sorry.

I called that guy and he didnt have any of the parts unfortunately, but I did find that nissanparts.cc has them in stock brand new, they are just expensive.

Have you tried car-part.com ? You may have to search for engine and see if anyone will pull the parts you need. I didn't see alternator or alternator brackets as an option.

Other than that you have two options left, swap in power steering our patiently wait for craigslist to provide.

Yeah I tried car-part first because most of the yards deliver to the shop I work at for free. I ended up just buying the parts new.
