VFR800
It's funny how back when I was in single digits age you'd hear the term "Jap Crap" in relation to things made in Japan. Course that is not proven to be the case that Japanese items are on the whole crap at all. Chinese however........... will it improve ? Link to comment
datzenmike
In the 50s the worst thing was to find 'Mae In Japan' on something. Many obsolete industrial processes and equipment were sent/sold to Japan to modernize, rebuild it economically after the war and they made a lot of cheaply made crap. Now we look for Made In Japan on things. China may get better but unlike Japan it has a history of (immense) corruption and bribery. 1 Link to comment
VFR800
Plus going forward,China will not be the most economically cheap place to get things made in time and that will then become India. Link to comment

Rjawm
Whew, so much extra work to put this on before changing a couple gaskets. A simple N95 is adequate, if worn correctly, to keep the fibers out of your lungs. 1 Link to comment

angliagt
There are craftsmen in China that make stuff very well, but unfortunately, most junky stuff is built to a price. 1 Link to comment
