datzenmike
Plymouth. What the hell's that thing on the back for??? Quadriplegic, he wouldn't be driving anyway so why not have a modified passenger seat in the front????? Link to comment
Jesse C.
Of course he isn't driving, that housed him and his wheelchair. This is way before the swoopy compact cripple scooters where made. 1 Link to comment
datzenmike
Again, WTF would you ride back there when you could ride up front? Link to comment
125 CSL
quad in a wheelchair,...if you have ever picked up someone to put them into a car seat then you know why the bit on the back was built. It is very difficult to physically pick up someone who has no ability to help you get them into a car seat. Soon realize how small that door opening is when you are attempting to put someone into the a car. 1 Link to comment
Cosmonaut
Coming from a wheel chair guy. It is fantastic that he was able to live his dream. 3 Link to comment
datzenmike
Roadrunner doors are huge. A swivel bucket could have been put in. Link to comment

125 CSL
Roadrunner doors are huge. A swivel bucket could have been put in. I would like to see you do it once or twice. Even with a car that has huge car doors. 1 Link to comment
datzenmike
Didn't say anything about lifting him. Someone lifts him into his chair so obviously do-able. Said if he's going to be in a chair might as well be a modified front seat. Link to comment
125 CSL
Being as you do not know,...no one lift into the chair. That gets real old fast and you end up like me with pain that will never go away . 1 Link to comment

(I assume quadriplegic means HE doesn't do it and I assume he isn't teleported so what's left? rolling him in? ) So I say again why not lift (or roll) him into a modified front car seat???? 240zness
Typical mike.. Can I say that? Bet he had fun from that vantage point 3 Link to comment
datzenmike
Seems a cumbersome way to enjoy the ride. Link to comment

Rick-rat
One thing for sure is that it is pointless to argue with the King, no matter how wrong and misinformed he is, He always thinks he is right 4 Link to comment

Do tell... or are you saying an opinion can be wrong? The way shown (sitting in the trunk) is not much better than being in a trailer. Seems like sitting in the car would be far more enjoyable.... and if this guy loved these cars so much he wouldn't have to cut it up and make it both ridiculous and useless. Link to comment

You have stated your opinion more than once about this, we get what you are saying already. You think it is ridiculous and useless.. He did what he wanted to his car to enjoy riding in it, that is not ridiculous or useless, that is being creative The thing you and a quadriplegic have in common is, a quadriplegic is physically unable to wipe his ass, you can't because you usually have your head up yours Just an opinion 4 Link to comment
