Stock exhaust mounting

Not sure proper name for the part, but want to know if it's used part search or found at parts store. I need the forward piece that bolts to the header. It's a two into one collector. Thanks for the help

After the cast exhaust manifold is what we call a down pipe. The down pipe collects the exhaust and directs it to the rear... usually into the muffler sometimes a resonator is included in line on it. On L16 and L18 engines, the exhaust manifold is only 4 into 2, with the two into one effected at the bend of the down pipe. Unfortunately they do rust out like any other thin walled pipe in the exhaust system and needs to be replaced. I doubt you can still buy them and it might be cheaper to have a muffler shop make one for you.

That's what I was afraid of. Helping a friend with his car. Muffler shop gave him a down pipe section but the flange holes don't line up correctly. From a different car I think. Another problem is the 2 to 1 collector has a twist that looks as though it will be a problem.

Mklotz70 was making these two hole flanges for the L16/18 engines. All you need then is the two pipes joined and welded.
