Minesmith67
Wasn't firing carb is rusted shut as far as plugs I already pulled and they were nasty. Motor has about 2.5 gallons of water in it so I draied the motor and pulled all plugs and turned the motor over a bunch to clear it out 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Seen this from blown head gasket and also from parking it without the air filter on or hood open.. 1 Quote Link to comment
84720FourWheel
I've only seen it twice. Once on my brothers 610 after the fire department put it out, and once on an old Duetz air cooled diesel. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Put some Marvel mystery oil in the cylinders through the plug holes. Do you plan on trying to run this engine? Quote Link to comment
Rhino13
How long has it been sitting with the water in it? 1 Quote Link to comment

I'd call that a fat US quart. 1 Quote Link to comment
84720FourWheel
Unless he's talking about the oil pan being filled which could probably be about 1.5 to two gallons. 1 Quote Link to comment
Minesmith67
I pulled the plug on oil pan and what came out of the motor almost filled a 5 gallon bucket. It was in seattle Washington where it rains a lot. It has been tarped the entire time but tarps can leak. And Charlie69 I was hoping to fire it but as you can see I didn't. And Rhino13 it's been sitting for about 6 years but the motor is still very clean I took the valve cover off No rust. I took off oil pan also no rust. I plan of running some oil cleaner stuff in bit to clean it out then put a good oil in the motor. Or if someone has better ideas let me know. 2 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If the block was filled with water there will be a rusty 'bath tub ring' on the inside. Seen this before. As long as the cylinders were dry you have a chance. Oil would have protected the crank bearings from rust. 1 Quote Link to comment
Minesmith67
The motor looked in ok shape I'm hoping to clean it out put a new carb on and see how it does it's just a shame this motor only had 4k on the rebuild 1 Quote Link to comment
