flatcat19
From the caliper to the strut should be rubber. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X1980+datsun+210+brake+hose.TRS0&_nkw=1980+datsun+210+brake+hose&_sacat=0 There is a member here named hosestop@msn.com who makes stainless hoses for all things Datsun. ggzilla
Why does it annoy you? It is stiffer than any hose, even a stainless braided hose. Dont fix what ain't broken. Quote Link to comment

Dont fix what ain't broken. bought some rotors and i really don't want to have to bleed the brakes to replace rotors. thats it GG. just thought having flexible hoses would make everything just a bit easier. ggzilla
I have replace rotor without disconnecting the lines. They are not permanently attached to the struts, and will move out of the way. B310 (210) has a cutout in the bracket which allows movement of the line when the clip is removed. (on the left is B110 (1200), which has a solid bracket) Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
OH! I was wrong. I see what you mean now. Grab a bungee cord to hold the caliper out of the way after you LIGHTLY/SLOWLY remove it(the caliper.) Quote Link to comment
