This should just slip on with the little tabs. Not sure they were made to be paint friendly. oldskoolvws Posted April 26, 2015 Report Share Posted April 26, 2015 Mine was a set I've had for years but mine are also real Vent-Shade. I have another NOS set somewheres that I'm going to switch these with someday. Those you have may be better, not sure. Mine are also stainless, very thick and solid. Because the clips wrap around the pillar, I think your hosed on paint unless you wrap it first and even then you may be still SOL. 2 Quote Link to comment
