Excessive slop, NLA worn out parts, over complicated and ugly ;)

No slop if set up correctly, only wear parts are bushings which can be replaced, complicated onlyto the slow, ugly is subjective. Throttle cables break, never seen crank linkage break. Mine has been reliably daily driven for a damn long time.

UPDATE***

 

Ok, so I made a spacer so, the cable throttle could fit since the nose would hit my pedal inside the car and used a Frontier gas pedal. I just had to fab the pedal to lower the cable socket and meet the

 

firewall whole. Hard to explain

 

but the oics...

 

my first time welding, and by myself too :thumbup:

No holes drilled in the making too, just drilled in the spacer from former gas linkage :geek:
