metalguy541
Made it to this patch of filler.... and found some *awesome* metal work under the 1/2" of duraglass... went out to the leftovers pile to do some shopping for a donor panel... and found one needing minimal work to clean up. 3 Quote Link to comment
metalguy541
The b pillar had some more of the sweetass repair work.... so i sectioned in a chunk to make that area right. Finished removing the rocker... and dod a partial replacement with futofab part... and managed to get the qtr section installed.. which still needs a little more work... but this is where its at currently 5 Quote Link to comment

Icehouse
SSSOOOOOO RADDDDDD!!!! How well does the weld though primer work? Quote Link to comment
metalguy541
Works great for mig welding... gotta make sure to remove it from anything getting tig welded 2 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Why is that? ^^^ 1 Quote Link to comment
metalguy541
The weld thru primer essentially burns away and then flows back around the weld as it cools... which is great for spot and lap welds... but that burning away contaminates the weld puddle when tig welding.... contamination makes shitty porus welds with hard spots that cant planish out/clean up as easy. 4 Quote Link to comment
metalguy541
When i say it needs to be removed for tig welding.. im talkin like a 1/4" from the weld.... which is pretty minimal. 2 Quote Link to comment
