metalguy541
Rather than posting up a new thread for every datsun project that rolls in, I will just keep them in one place. I will try to keep this mainly pics with minimal description 4 Quote Link to comment

INDY510
what brand of weld thru primer is that? ... is it a sealer primer too? ... I always wondered what to do inside of frame rails and areas paint can't reach 1 Quote Link to comment
Dirttrack510
That's some pretty scary rust there! Awesome job on the repairs though. 1 Quote Link to comment
metalguy541
Its something i get from the local paint store. 1 coat is weld thru... 2 coats is sealing primer. I typically spray everything, wipe off the weld areas.. and then hit everything with 2nd coat...leaving 1 coat in welding areas 2 Quote Link to comment
metalguy541
I noticed that most of the builds on here have people scraping the sound deadener the hard way... so im gonna share this trick i found. Dry ice... this was about $20 worth at the local albertsons.. takes a few mins to freeze the sound deadener... then minimal work popping it off with a scraper in giant chunks... this half a floor took 20 mins total 4 Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
I almost didn't look at the thread....sure glad I did! Very intimidating rust!!! Great work on the repair!! Thanks for the primer and dry ice info!! :) 2 Quote Link to comment
