C200 Hardbody vs C200 720

I was curious about any differences between the early hardbody axle and the 720 axle. I'm looking to invest in an ARB air locker, and don't want to drop a grand to see if it fits.

Both the 720 and the D-21 have C-200 and H-190 differentials. The 720 has 29 splines. I tried comparing the side gears that the axles slip into. I figured if they are the same, the axle has to fit. It was confusing as hell. The H-190 is the same for sure even up into the Xterra. My head started hurting and I had to stop.  :lol:  I can try again tonight after work. I will say it looked promising.

ARB replied with this: 

 

       "I show a footnote to verify the ring gear bolts at 12mm for that diff and it may be that is why it is not listed for the earlier rigs. It is the right spline count and diff model though.​"

 

This is in reference to the thread diameter. Anybody know offhandedly?
