datzenmike Posted March 24, 2015 Report Share Posted March 24, 2015 The solenoid does not clear the L series dip stick tube. I bent mine.... then can't get the stick in or out. Had to make a new flexible thin strip dip stick from a chev or ford or something. Z series is clocked to the left while the L block is clocked to the right and they are too close. L series starters fit the Z series engines no problem. 1 Quote Link to comment
