Draker
I pulled my water pump because it was old and worn out. It started to leak and spray everywhere. This fan has an internal drum type clutch. It actually worked really well. If it weren't for the water pump.. I'd keep using it. The problem is the bolt spacing is different than any pump I can find.. and the pump has a snap ring to hold the clutch on. Anyway, here are pictures for reference. I googled and I couldn't find another one like this. Were these common? 60mm bolt spacing and the center section is raised about 1" to hold the clutch with a snap ring. Fan clutch and internal bearing. This is has a spiral spring that adjust tension on the clutch as it heats up. 13" Fan Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
My info shows them only on the '68 510 with optional cooler (air con) For '69 and on the more traditional clutch fan assy was used. The clutch part was also available on the 1.6 and 2.0 Roadster engines. Quote Link to comment

The info is much appreciated! Quote Link to comment
