Early British Borg Warner Rebuild Kit! with part numbers and mfg update

Tracking off my earlier discovery courtesy of my dealer that the 1979 Volvo 144 used the identical British transmission I went to RockAuto and summoned up the Volvo pages.  I bought the last RGS7 [gaskets and soft parts only] and one of several RM5(RM-5) complete hard and soft parts kits.  Also a closeout on the pan gasket G69(G69:P).  Should be enough to last me another 48 years!  I just realized that today is the 47th "anniversary" of my buying my RL411.

REMEMBER fits both RL411 and first production runs of PL510 sedan and wagon.  Later 510 versions had the Muncie Indiana units.  The key is

British  "Without modulator"

Muncie "With modulator"

If you go search on RockAuto for these parts under 510, you only get Muncie parts.

Parts started arriving today!  Pan gaskets are spot on!  Soft parts rebuild package looks also spot on!  When I get the complete hard and soft parts rebuild kit I will post the manufacturer's ID, Address and Site ID so that we all can bypass the middle men and stock up on these future repair parts before the manufacturer gets tired of supplying one off lots to retailers.  Hard and soft parts kit due March 17th,  Slainte Geal!!!!

NOTE! Hard parts kit does not include  bands.  I contacted the manufacturer today. Response was "None of our kits include the bands.  If the friction material on the bands is in good condition they can be reused.  We no longer have the bands availablt for this transmission."
