Rockstar machine and all? Damm, you rollin big, Mr. Big!! You'd think with that kind of coin, a guy could clean up an axle!!! :rofl:  :w00t:  Looks damm good though!!!

Never attach to fender?

 

Indeed. That's just asking for trouble. Great way to bend a freshly painted fender.

 

Seen it happen enough times that I never do it. I usually cut the attachment arms off the bumper before rechroming them.

 

Option B if you REALLY want it attached, get some nylon bolts. Holds just as well but they break instead of bending the fender.

Had some other dents that i got done.

Ready for final sand and spray. It will be far from perfect but it in itself an improvement on the OG fenders.

 

Will start on the passenger fender next. I want to finish both and spray both at one time. Tis metal is so thin it is hard to make straight. The passenger fender will be done different by welding factory hole first on the car and then making the new hole for arrow light. metal gets wrapped bad and well you got to build up with body filler. I hope the passenger one goes better.

There's a guy I met that has some original bluebird fenders with the mirrors. I think he will sell them to me, fingers crossed.. he's into 510's & datsuns in general.
