KA24e swap in a 71 wagon. Questions

Hey guys i've been searching everywhere and im wondering what headers to get for the swap. (bolt in would be good) 

 

Ive got the engine and trans in the car and i cant seem to fit the stock manifold and down pipe in. Anyone else have this problem?

Also ive had to remove the lower engine to trans brackets on the ka as they hit the steering linkage. Normal?

Do people run them without the lower brackets?

Is it the KA exhaust manifold that's hitting, or just the down pipe. Not much you can do about the manifold but a new down pipe can be made to bend around things. Headers are expensive and would have to be custom made as the KA didn't come in a 510.
