So we have a pre-meet at ct specialties powdercoating at 2815 37th Ave sw suite #120 olympia wa 98512 before hand. Lets leave there by 9:30/9:45. From there we will head up highway 101 to hoodsport grocery for a quick stop for anyone that may need fuel/early repairs, stretch of legs, finger pointing, heckling or what ever. From there we head to fat smitties burgers in discory bay. Should put us there about noonish. Hangout, eat some grub, shoot the shit, photo ops of discovery bay/what ever. There we will decide if we want to go into Townsend or not. If we do, figure a short cruise through down town and back out. Avoiding any place that will charge an arm and a leg to enter(ie. State parks). Leave Townsend down to porthadlock tp port Ludlow enjoying the scenery/ritsy nieghbor hoods and onward to the hood canal bridge. After the bridge we'll hang a left towards a quaint little town or port gamble at which time we can stop for another photo op to gloat about and show off to the "other" regions of ratsun. From gamble we take highway 307 to highway 3. We will then be traveling highway 3 through Silverdale, Bremerton, Gorst and Belfair all the way to Shelton and back onto highway 101 to olympia. Feel free to join in at any point in the route or peel off at any point. Hopefully this works for you guys. It will be an all day event for the most part.

All good man, It tends to go that way for the new guy. Bit of hazing is always in order.

The Mrs and myself will prob drive south to meet up with the group. Then just duck out when we get close to home.  Hope to have it one color by then as well.......

Ok, so im on call the 25/26 of April and 23/24 of may. Hammuck says Portland swapmeet is weekend of the 11/12 of April. So lets here some suggestions on which weekend we can do this. I prefer to do it on a Sunday as more people can attend. Ill get a map of thepotential route up soon.

Hey, I like old people ,,, since somewhere in the past it seems ,, i have become one.

The mountains,, even a Eastern WA trek like you and Kevin mentioned  would be a great place for a Hobocruise in the summer..

For a very long cruise, going east over Hwy 20 and then south along the Columbia before heading back west over Hwy 2 is hard to beat. A trip over to Leavenworth is always nice too but better on a weekday as it (and the pass) can be pretty crowded on the weekends.

Assuming my engine is still together (or rebuilt, whichever comes first) I'm in for a peninsula cruise. I'd definitely be up for something up and over the mountains too. This is several years old now, but here's a pic from above Ross Lake on Hwy 20:
