The PO started converting to electric with a automatic tranny, so this means that it doesnt currently have a fuel tank or fuel lines, and it no longer has a clutch pedal or master cylinder. I plan to go back to the stock L16, which I have, and a five speed, which I have. Also I'm thinking of trying to fab brakets for an bed mounted 620 tank I have. I'll just need to come up with the pedals and it should work out easy enough.

Edit: And oh ya, get rid of the LED's. Not a fan.

Yeah, can see why the LED's were put in there.

This is the failure of most electric conversions and the inability to get performance (mileage). They utilize exiting drive train (transmission) which equals greater friction and a loss of range. I've been contemplating electric for a while but I can't find the drive section that I wanted that would go between the rear wheels and be more direct coupled.

VW Rabbit conversion were popular because they direct coupled to a very simple transmission (020) with minimal loss and very light weight.

Great in concept, difficult in execution. Nice truck, perfect candidate for a new motor.

Does anyone know what a motor + tranny like this would go for? It's a 36 volt Raymond forklift motor, model 507-226/100. I've spent all morning trying to look online for another one for sale. There are a few similar motors on eBay for ~$300-400.
