datzenmike Posted February 25, 2015 Report Share Posted February 25, 2015 Fixed blade fans are inferior. They are no good on off road vehicles. They don't move enough air through the rad when the engine is screaming in lo range climbing a hill or barely moving in a mud bog. Engine over heats. On the highway it's different as vehicle speeds does all the air moving. Quote Link to comment

datsunaholic Posted February 25, 2015 Report Share Posted February 25, 2015 Also, there are several different fan clutch fans. 2 different bolt patterns, and at least 2 different offsets, so generally you can't use one off a different model (truck ones don't fit cars, etc). Quote Link to comment
