Not hard to remove, but REALLY easy to bend them.  If you want to polish them, I'd put some blue tape around the paint and buff them out with a small polish wheel on a drill or a die grinder while they are on the car.  Just my $.02

Also they get rust under there, once there put on they scrape the paint and leave it exposed.

I was going to take them off because it is slowly starting to rust under them. I was just got take them of to reach some rust and put the chrome back on. I do plan on polishing it and painting it, so i will probably do why you guys said, and just tape over them. Have any f you guys dealt with smoke coming from the tail pipe. Mine has a lot of smoke but I can't figure out if its burning to much oil or what? Any advice on where to start?

I think grey/white is water but I could be wrong. Blueish smoke is more gas I think. I can't even remember any more but I know the colour helps figure out the problem.

Shit almost sounds like you're running too rich to me if it smells like gas but I'm probably wrong,

Im not sure but I'm looking into it more and more. And does anyone here have san experience with wiring? the wiring it a little faulty at times, the battery died while i was driving it and i think its because of a short. If it to complicated I might just fix that one wire and be done. Any advice?
