erxie
All the gages except the speedometer on my 1984 Nissan 4X4 720 Pickup suddenly stopped working. I checked the fuses and also removed the gage cluster, cleaned the Volt regulator contact and cleaned up the wiring plugs, that didn’t make any difference. I noticed that when I turn the key on my oil and battery lights don’t come on. When I start the engine the battery light comes on. Could it be the fuse wires that power the gage cluster? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Replace the fourth fuse over from the left hand side. NEVER trust a fuse by looks... replace it. 2 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Mike is right. I had that same issue after only having my truck a couple months. I ended up filing the blades on a fuse with a key in a dark parking lot to get good enough connections to fix the issue. Start with a new fuse. 1 Quote Link to comment
