bonvo
ok guys my 610 is finally FINALLY getting real paint im working on getting it ready and im torn do i flare the car or not flare the car? the goal is what its always been supercharged vg30 so i want to flare the car to get more rubber under it but that requires a lot more work to the rear quarters and buying new rims i love the slot mags but i know that finding wider ones will be damn near impossible so i present the question to ratsun flare or not to flare if i flare it it will probably end up with some aero racing wheels cause there easy to get in any combination of sizes that i want and cheap if not it will continue to run the slot mags pics of the current set up Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I wouldn't. You have nice wheel arches. I'm ONLY considering it because mine are rusted through. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I'd say just ever so slightly if at all. I may be interested in your slots if selling. Size? Quote Link to comment
bonvo
have a tiny bit of rust going on paint is bubbling in a one spot on both sides about the size of a nail head Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Jon, I have S110 factory mags and 215/60R14 so 8.5" wide tires. I think the rim is 5.5 JJ X14 but the wide rubber seems to fit just fine and the off set is perfect. (on a 710) Imagine the 610 would be close. I don't think you can go wider rubber on your rims? All you need is two rims that match the front for the back with maybe an inch 3cm? of positive off set to move the rubber in. The fronts don't need to be changed and besides narrower on the front make the rears look larger than they are. Quote Link to comment
bonvo
fronts are 14x6 with something like zero offset with 185 65 14s the rears are 14x7 around zero offset with 195 70 14s i would like to stuff 225s under the rear for traction i think i may just roll the wheel wells and pull them a tiny bit keep the wheels slot the crossmember and run wider tires on it Quote Link to comment
Just Joel
I say no... Just because it's to easy and rather generic to mod the fenders. Even with vg power, I bet you'll be just fine with the 195's 2 Quote Link to comment
laotsu
no flare 1 Quote Link to comment
Seansm10
Those fenders are beautiful. Shorten your axles instead. Lol. 1 Quote Link to comment

Flares are cool, but your arches are already pretty nice. Quote Link to comment

Mattndew76
Do not Massage or molest. If you flare get steel pressed flares and do it clean. Rolling is a hit or miss. I have seen good roll jobs and seen really bad ones. an honest opinion, just an opinion. Look for steel flares or fender lips you could rob from another car. Quote Link to comment
