180B SSS Vacuum

G'day all

I've got a 1980 200B, that many many years ago (before i was born) had a 180B SSS motor put in it. I'm currently tidying it up and replacing a few things to get it running nicely before i put the motor in my 620.

From what i know of the history, and can tell, it's stock apart from RAMFLO filters on the roundtop SU's

However somebody has made an absolute Hash of things, and i can make heads or tails of the vacuum set up. Just wondering if any1 has some clear photos of how the vac lines should be routed, where they run to and from, and what runs between the 2 carbies, as pretty much everything is disconnectded.

I've replaced all the ignition parts and installed an electric distributor, and want to sort the vacuum before i attempt to tune the Carbs (they are way out of tune).

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers for the prompt reply, ill have a look if that port is there for the advance when i go into the workshop. where does the vac line in the lower right of the photo run to in that set up?

Just so i dont look stupid, ill prefix it with the fact i've just finished my qualification, and have worked on about 4 carbureted cars in 3 1/2 years, and they've been the traditional style of carburettors.

The fitting on the bowl, top left of photo, that should plumb to the filter housing yeah? its a breather?

No idea, we didn't get these. A guess would be to the flow guide valve to purge the engine of stored gas fumes or the later charcoal canister for the same thing. The fitting in the the center of the loop is the water outlet from the intake.

There is one on both carbs. It's the over flow and should have a hose on each that directs the flooding gas down under the engine away from the hot exhaust.

In the center is a Blue plug covering a larger fitting with wire twisted on it. This is likely for the brake booster and the one behind it with the woven hose is the PCV valve.
