will a 69 roadster transmission fit a15?

 

what are differences between a15 and h16/r16?

Not that I'm aware of. For one the Roadster starter is on the driver's side.

 

The Roadster 5 speed does have a removable bell housing.... if there was an A series bell bolt pattern ever made it could be bolted on. There were L series bell bolt patterns made so it could be used on the early 240z car but I don't think any for the A series.

Nope. What datzenmike said. Roadster 5-speeds are pricey, so, even if there was a bellhousing that would swap, forget that route.

B&M used to make adapters for damned near any engine to transmission combination. They have probably gone out of business due to EPA requirements but why not try a search? At worst you will get a lot of spam. Don't know if they ever learned to "speak" Japanese.
