No Brake lights or reverse lights

Headlights an tail lights work so does turn signals . But no brake lights or reverse light so I'm going to start with the bulbs then inspect and clean the fuse box Later soak in vinegar like everyone says and scrape with a Brush .

Do the vinegar soak, it worked wonders for my side markers and signals. Replace all fuses, even if they look good they can be bad, I had issues with proper looking blown fuses. Years of heat cycling can crystallize the metal and it won't conduct properly. Check out the reverse light wires to the trans, I believe they are red with black.

ok i got everything to work brake lights tail and headlights . it was a matter of adjusting the fuses twisting them into a different position . so it was the fuse box needs to be cleaned . i took it off to soak but there are wires that don't disconnect in the back should i soak those too? the whole fuse box ?

Yes submerg for about 15-20 min, than rinse with water. I than would dry it out with a hair dryer or sorts.

 

And if you wish put some electrical grease with a q-tip on the insides where the fuses touch

You can pretty much do that to the head light plugs and other connections as well if needed, less resistance brighter lights

A bit late now, but it is a good idea when you remove and reinstall a fuse box to cut a patch out of a plastic milk or juice container and install as an insulating wafer under the fuse box.  I had a piece of debris slip under mine and short to ground melting a hole in the fuse box cover.
