1980 510 wagon in South Carolina

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, figured Id post and show my wagon I recently aquired. It has been a reliable car just needing some cleaning and tuning up. Is missing some of the trim BUT does have some stylish mailbox lettering to really set it off (on the hunt for replacements) I am in Greenville SC. I just recieved my shop manual from ebay today and reading up on it so I can maintain this car like I should. Any pointers are greatly appreciated!

That's probably a Z20S in it. Lots of possibilities there. KA swap??? You've got a good base to start with; a strut front end with solid axle rear, very easy to lower and good handling characteristics. A lot of tube frame race cars are set up with that combination, although they usually have a link suspension and coilovers in the rear.

I LOVE that you pulled the interior to clean it. That's the only way to properly clean an interior. I use Purple Power to clean the interior plastics to get all the years of grime off. I also shampoo the carpets and let them dry in the sun. Put that clean stuff back in and the car will smell brand new.
