Blocks are faster cheaper and easier than re-arching. In either case the spring should be stiffened to reduce suspension travel and the resulting bottoming out on the pavement.

If adding blocks a smaller 'load leveler' coil can be clamped to the shock.

If re arching the springs have an extra leaf added.

I've also seen the front and rear of a leaf spring bent downwards.

They are very simple to make, 2x2 solid aluminum roughly 4-5/8" long (thats from memory and could be wrong), drill a hole straight through the center, tap it on one side and install a Socket head cap screw as a centering pin; Done. As for the U bolts, i took my stock ones down to a local 4x4 shop and asked them to make me a set of 4 with the same dimensions but 2" longer. All said and done i made my own 2" blocks for under $40 in one day.  If you want exact measurements let me know and ill grab some pictures and measure them for you.

and the rears were the bumperettes from some old volvo or something. like 1960s

as for the tires, they are 185/60/14. They rubbed a little so i just pulled out the fender a bit. It rides nice and turns sooo much better, but on a shit road you feel it  :hyper:
