Right now, I'm working on the interior. I've sound deadened the inside but I need to figure out the doors, firewall, and trunk.(later i guess) I flushed out my fuel lines and my gas tank is getting cleaned.

My Dashboard: took it apart and the foam is mummified. I bought a dash cap and took out the rust. As for the front frame, I sanded it down and I'm going to primer it tomorrow hopefully  .

Unsiezed my front brakes just from sitting so long and put on my fuel lines. Off my rotors go to school so I can grind them  . The brake line thats about just under a foot long is ripped, how do I replace it? Junkyard, or just buy a new one   any interchangeables??

LSD axle found

Now I've , made space to work around with and there she sits.

Wow, clean lookin dime, and it's a 68! Buff it out, slam it on some cool wheels, done.

Be careful while restoring your dash, the 68 was a one year only dash and is very hard to find pieces for.

Thanks, and yeah I've already lost some hardware like a couple of screws   but I'm gonna match the remaing up at Ace or Home depot.

I've cleaned so far the dash pieces very thoroughly making the pieces look shiney and fresh   Misssing the speedo needle so I'm just going to glue some piece right there.

Dont half ass the wireing or anything as

this caR IS WORTH MORE THAN THE AVAERAGE BEATER 510

Yeah these are pretty darn rare. I finished the wiring really good, taking my time on everything.

I love these dashes the most!

Along came with my desire to put a gas cable for my SU's

20150521_194340_zpseu6wmyym.jpg

I wanted to use the previous holes from the pushlinkage so I wouldn't have to drill directly in to the 68 beauty. So I drilled in to a plate. :baby:

20150521_194318_zpsyp7ax7qj.jpg20150502_123938_zpsnmivsjtu.jpg

720 Gas Pedal

20150502_124052_zpsm25fpv5g.jpg20150521_195753_zpswbkjzsta.jpg20150522_174627_zpsd6lccvtj.jpg

Now going to stud this plate so I can fasten with ease. Then I'll weld support brackets to space this away from the plate because the nose thing out of the cable flange would hit the gas pedal!

20150522_174630_zpsleaffww8.jpg

The cable should fit through their   hopefullyi can get some crymps somewhere and fix the end of the cable

20150610_190121_zpsbxuq2qiz.jpg

Darn hopefully we have a 68 510 ign switch with  keys! 20150610_190154_zpshq8ibxt3.jpg
