That4doorKiD
Right now, I'm working on the interior. I've sound deadened the inside but I need to figure out the doors, firewall, and trunk.(later i guess) I flushed out my fuel lines and my gas tank is getting cleaned. My Ceiling :w00t: ... My Dashboard: took it apart and the foam is mummified. I bought a dash cap and took out the rust. As for the front frame, I sanded it down and I'm going to primer it tomorrow hopefully  . Unsiezed my front brakes just from sitting so long and put on my fuel lines. Off my rotors go to school so I can grind them  . The brake line thats about just under a foot long is ripped, how do I replace it? Junkyard, or just buy a new one  any interchangeables?? LSD axle found Now I've , made space to work around with and there she sits. 1 Quote Link to comment
hobbes_the_cat
Wow, clean lookin dime, and it's a 68! Buff it out, slam it on some cool wheels, done. Be careful while restoring your dash, the 68 was a one year only dash and is very hard to find pieces for. 2 Quote Link to comment
That4doorKiD
Sanded down the front dash frame so I can primer theN paint it. As for these litlle clips on it, I'll sink them in vinegar for a few days to shine them up. 1 Quote Link to comment

That4doorKiD
Along came with my desire to put a gas cable for my SU's  I wanted to use the previous holes from the pushlinkage so I wouldn't have to drill directly in to the 68 beauty. So I drilled in to a plate. :baby: 720 Gas Pedal Now going to stud this plate so I can fasten with ease. Then I'll weld support brackets to space this away from the plate because the nose thing out of the cable flange would hit the gas pedal! The cable should fit through their  hopefullyi can get some crymps somewhere and fix the end of the cable Darn hopefully we have a 68 510 ign switch with keys! 2 Quote Link to comment
