datzenmike Posted January 30, 2015 Report Share Posted January 30, 2015 A shop is sometimes the way to go... if you can afford it. Much of the work isn't rocket science and you could do yourself. @ $50-$100 an hour for their work, it means you have to work 5 hours or more to pay them for one hour to turn a wrench. Two hours pay and you could buy a killer set of tools and rent a spring compressor and do yourself. Best of all the next thing you do, the tools are already there and paid for and so it the knowledge you earned doing this. I realize sometimes the space, place and time just isn't available.
