Hold on a moment...

Any one can post pics of a car or description of one.

Then you are asking about the location. Um...what if you are a booster?

I hope no one gives you the local.

I am a member of a Maxima forum. I owned a 2001 Maxima. 2002 and 2003 Maximas came with HID headlights and housings.

The headlight housings for the later had a difficult removal procedure. More so than the 2000-01.

It became so that no one would answer questions about headlight removal to aid against theft.

Not trying to be shitty-just sayin.

Sometimes you just got to let things go.

Who's this guy and we're can I find him lol

Do you have the VIN? If you can find a single hookup at a car dealer, they can look up the owner of the car. Or a tow company..

DMV will probably not give you a damn thing. And rightfully so.. Plus in CA, you'd have to wait 6 months just for them to tell you "No"... hah

I know what your saying flat and being these dimes are gold and popular. But one thing I wouldn't do to another dime owner is boost it. Maybe a chevelle or Camaro lol. Joking aside I do have the vin and plate number. I'm looking for this car because when I sold it to a kid he got pulled over without a license. They impounded it and sent me the paperwork. I called the new owner and his dad said I'll teach him a a lesson and gave me back the car. Well story goes I went to get it the tow yard sold it without a lean. Took him to court and got another 2500 out it. But now I would like to get it back. It's been sitting up there in Santa Rosa for 12 yrs doing nothing but rotting. So I figure buy it back from this person. Already sent my paperwork to DMV waiting for response. Figure I would get help here until then.

I'm with flatcat on this one, your story reeks of bullshit. Selling a car without a lien is called grand theft auto, people would be in prison, tow company shut down, dmv wouldn't register it and chp would've seized the car. The ''purchaser'' would get I believe 2-5 for receiving stolen property and you'd have the car back. I've done lien sales, dmv sends every prior registered owner of the vehicle a notice asking if they have any interest in said vehicle, no way to transfer without it. If they forged signatures on dmv docs it would come out in court and the story would end the same way...the car being returned. One good thing about California is the laws protecting people from getting fucked on car deals. Unless the tow company did get a proper lien and you didn't respond to the interest letter in a timely fashion.

Dude, your story this time is way different from the first story you posted half a year ago.

Your other post read verbatim:

So I figure I would try to start here to try to find my old dime. I'm starting because it's cheaper then paying the div since they already take enough of our money for our vehicles. OK so here it goes. It's a 72 2 Dr dime that had 13 Libras that the last time I saw it was in Santa Rosa. I sold it to a kid which I know I should have never sold in the 1st place. I did this because I fully restoring a 69 2 Dr with only 11000 original mile from an old lady in lake county. It had all the receipts from Lake County datsun. Anyways back to the discussion. As I was saying sold it to a kid that day he got pulled over for not having head lights on. It got towed. I went to the top yard because the new owner didn't have the money to get it out. Went to pay the fees but didn't have a release form the PD. So a couple of weeks gone by and the lean holder sold it. I then traced it to Rincon Valley tried to get a hold of new owner but didn't want to sell. Kept my eye on it for a few yrs. And BAM disappeared. They moved and that's how I lost Ol Yeller. I know you guys are gonna ask for pics. So ill try to get them uploaded for ya. I do have plates n Vin tho. Any help which maybe be a long shot but what the hell

Well dolo I don't give a fuck what u think and if my story sounds like shit. So I didn't re write verbatim. I'm not her trying to scam shit from anyone on this site. Was trying locate the car I sold. I didn't mean for you to tell the the dudes name and shit. Either way dmv will pop me the address to located the car I sold years ago. Like none of you guys on here had ever sold a car/truck and wanted help locating again. Again was just reaching out not trying to start shit here or get a bad rap. I understand what the both of you are saying and I agree with you guys. So forgive me if my stories didn't jive or sound the same. If you seen it great and if you don't want to tell me shit that's great to. Then don't give me your fucking 2 cents either.

Whoa sister, don't get your panties in a bunch. Just admit you felt bad about selling the car instead of posting a half assed sob story a blind man could see through. So what, someone you don't know called bullshit on your bullshit, no need to get all PlayStation tuffguy here. I'm sure everyone here wishes they had a car back that they shouldn't have gotten rid of. I hope you aren't a thief and just a dude trying to buy back a car, and if you are that guy I even would think its cool if you did. Insulting people's intelligence is never a way to get help, and you loose credibility when you do shit like that.

If you want to find your car and you don't have any leads.. your best bet is to hang around here and look for pictures. Or if it was an exceptionally nice 510.. monitor here and the510realm. The same cars are bought and sold.. member pop up and go away all the time. Sooner or later the car shows up with a new member.

If you could post a picture of it.. crappy or not. Scanned or digital.. that would help a lot.

Thanks ropo. I already have 68 4dr just was wanting to get this 2dr back on a account that it's been sitting since 98 from what dmv shows on there system. I just wanted to try to find and offer the guy some cash so that way I can get her back on the road. Then again it may be all cut up or even wrecked but it would still be nice to see it for myself.
