michaeltsun
well i have work on racing vehicles i dont think is bad combination you talking about the weight of the vehicle is less that the new cars so making around 200 to 300 is easy with turbo and i have been putting gaskets together to make work i spend around 120 for the cylinder head gasket i think but that gasket is use on race engines and i will let you know what happen and how much is the total of this and i will also post pictures of the car, and also i though that if i can make the car weight 2500 with 250 bhp it should be on the 12-13 second in a quarter mile somewhere around those numbers Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
i also have to change the MAF sensor i will not be using that type of sensor i will be using one from another car because i will be putting more that just atm pressure to the engine FYI, the factory 280ZX turbo uses the same style AFM. It just needs to be in front of the turbo, not behind it. Quote Link to comment

Power Tryp
well i have work on racing vehicles. If you've worked on racing vehicles you should know that in all instances except for drag racing the suspension, brakes and chassis work comes first and then you add power. Slapping a turbo onto the engine only makes a car faster going straight ahead but because this isn't a drag car you have to turn it and stop it. Here's my list of priorities. 1. Make sure the brakes work. 2. Get it running really good. 3. fix rust. 4. Moar lower. 4. Drive the the shit out of it. Follow that list and then add power. You'll have a much better car and a more enjoyable experience over all. 1 Quote Link to comment
michaeltsun
i m in love with this car and i can wait to finish it but i haven't had the time to work on it and also is the fact that i dont have a title for it but i going to try for a restoration title with new serial number because i have to restore the car itself and i dn't believe it has serial number, i was trying to get a title for it but SC is a little picky i guess but I going to try do it by restoration, if it is true about the year that has on the car paint it then is a 32 year old car Quote Link to comment
