russaroll
So last tuesday i took a drive up north to Lanthrop to p/u a 2door from Mr. DATSLOCO himself. no motor no trans so it was a perfect candidate for a KA swap. the body was pretty solid, it had some dings but what datsun doesn't? the roof looks like oatmeal in one corner, no cancer all in all i'm happy. let the fun begin. ...but first after some spray i got down to business. haven't even started doing real work and i'm already bleeding suspension's out X member is out took all the steering apart shortly after this oic ready to be flipped pile of part i need to take to work to clean and blast. nasty seats out i think i can get this reupholstered trash thus concludes my morning 5 Quote Link to comment

qwik510
Great 510 find. Looking forward to following the build. You might want to hang onto the rear seat for the frame. It can be fixed and recovered. They will be hard to find soon. Quote Link to comment
russaroll
Love the green. really? i'm not to fond of it. luckily that's what spray cans are for. Great 510 find. Looking forward to following the build. You might want to hang onto the rear seat for the frame. It can be fixed and recovered. They will be hard to find soon. i'm not putting a back seat back in it. i also don't have space to hold on to it. (just in case) i understand more and more parts are getting harder to find for these beauties but, at the same time, people are coming up solutions for these problems that work and look great.
