From what i've read the only difference between crossmembers is L16/18 vs l20b since the l20b is a taller block. I'd like some confirmation though. 1 Quote Link to comment

I assume the SR has a front sump pan and you need clearance and the cross member is in the way. Well there are better ways to do this than throwing money at it. They have welders on the Wrong Coast don't they????? What you can do or have done is cut the curved section out of the cross member rotate it 180 and weld it back in. The L18 and L20B front cross members on the 710 were identical. If there were any differences in positioning the taller L20B it would have been done with the engine brackets.
