81sunnyson
im interested in trying to run a cv carb setup like a keihin harley davidson twin cam carb found this website: http://www.v-performance.com/products/air_fuel.html#mikuni_carbs http://www.classicfordmag.co.uk/files/2011/07/CLF166.bike_.pdf Quote Link to comment
Dolomite
I've been debating between having my sss carbs redone or going with a dual mikuni kit. I'm curious if they really as good as the website says. BTW,It should be in general discussion. Quote Link to comment
dr.feltersnatch
The cv carb works real similar to an su with vacuum operated slide. There are a lot of guys running bike carbs (search for r1 carbs) but I have not personally seen anyone running them. Is there a reason you like those, like you already have them laying around or just looking for something different? You will need a custom intake and throttle setup and tuning might be a challenge. datzenmike
Easily moved. On a four cylinder I would rather go with R-1 carbs with one per cylinder. Fitted with velocity stacks and tuned length... but that's just me. HD carbs should work though. CV is the way to go with a carb. Quote Link to comment
dr.feltersnatch
are you trying to go with a single carb? i thought you wanted to run multiple carbs. single would be much easier. Quote Link to comment
