As far as strut coil overs it should work. The 610 is not exactly the same as the 510. I think slightly wider but no big deal.

What spring rate will you be using? It should be related to what your front strut spring rate is to stay in balance.

Yes 200 to start at least. The placement of the spring close to the axle eliminates the 3.8 to 1 cantilever of the rear control arm.

My 610 FSM shows a front spring rate of 96 lb/in. The rear is 367 (divide by 3.8) is exactly 96 lb/in at the axle... so it seems they are equal. Both at 200 lb/in should work just fine.

You aren't supposed to run more than #225 rear coilovers in the back of a 510... Troy recommended #200, to avoid wheel hop or a rear wheel lifting during hard cornering

I went with #225, and it feels almost too stiff ... #200 would be more comfortable on bumpy roads, and it's apparently alot safer than #225

gabriel told me most of the toyota guys run stiff springs and softer shocks and the datsun guys do either stiff shocks or stiff springs

it rides better then my suspension techniques rears with tokiko blues

I just dont like the saggy rear end when taking off

Are these Toyotas FWD?

Also keep in mind that people are totally monkey see monkey do. If your friends run stiff spring/soft shock it must be right, right? Run with the pack. It may also be a form before function. Done purely for the looks nothing to do with performance or handling just like mad camber.
