any chance for rear bumper?

Im assuming futofab are sourcing these parts from the same Taiwanese company as Muscle car parts here in Aus.

The rep who I spoke to said rear bars were going to be pressed, but he wasnt sure when.

He did have a prototype front bar, and all I can say is it was pure porn!

The rest of the panels currentlyavailable are very, very good!

Rear quarters (ive seen the two door ones, and purchased four door ones) are fantastic and well worth the money IMLTHO.

Oics of some of the panels are in my build thread.

And, Aussie website if anyones interested.

Muscle Car Australia and FutoFab purchase sheet metal from the same manufacturer. We are the manufacturer's only direct representative for North America.

We received 2 & 4 door quarter panels and have not released them for sale. The tooling needs a little tweak to correct the belt line detail at the rear of the quarter. The original panel used by the manufacturer for reverse engineering did not carry the belt line detail to the end of the panel. See the picture in the first post of this thread. The detail is blended out in the last 4" of the panel. This is why I have not announced sale of the parts.

FutoFab is working with the manufacturer to correct this.

Rear Bumpers were to have originally been received in our April shipment. We are still waiting on them.

We do have chrome fronts in stock (3 left). They are $360/ea +S&H (which is around $30 to most anywhere in the Continental US).

You are correct, quarter panels are not on the website. The panels we received are not suitable for sale as 1st quality. They will be offered as seconds at a discounted rate.

I haven't had a close look at my quarters yet.

Wont be surprised if the line doesn't run all the way to the back as the Aussie ones are probably from the same production run as the US.

Didn't even notice when i picked them up (so much for my roughly 30 years of knowledge ).

Oh well, not overly concerned as ill have a matching pair, but will be contacting the Aussie distributor, especially if they have knowingly sold them with production faults without telling people.

Either way, ive got them now so ill use them.

Dave, do you have an ETA on when the new rear quarters will be in? I've got someone local to me that is itching to get one. He almost bought the first revision but decided to wait for the new ones.

Right now we do not have an ETA on corrected quarters.

We have a restoration shop working on correcting the imperfections. Once corrected we will ship the part to the manufacturer for scanning, so they can rework the tooling.

Estimate is several months out. End of year would be very optimistic.
