datzenmike
The above. But grab it if you can afford it before one of those Britisher MG guys snap it up. Quote Link to comment
Doctor510
Sell it to the guys with the British "Spridgets" They are like gold to them Quote Link to comment
Doctor510
Look at the post times Mike, great minds think alike! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I'll give it to you... if you can tell me if it has a regular shift or dogleg pattern. (50/50 chance you could get it wrong) Or IS there a dogleg A series transmission or am I just muddying the waters? Quote Link to comment
Dime Dave
Dogleg 60 series, drain plug points to the rear. Standard pattern 60 series 5 speed, drain plug points at the ground. Either fits the Rivergate 5 speed Spridget conversion , just the dogleg needs the transmission cross member modified to clear/remove the drain plug. Quote Link to comment
Dime Dave
Mike, The 63 dogleg was behind an A series engine in the B210. 60 dogleg was in the early B310 (210). 79 US and I think 80 too in Canada Quote Link to comment
blueribbon
Thanks for the info guys. I had a feeling due to pictures i saw of the correct transmission, just really wanted to believe it would work. I need a freeway gear! Quote Link to comment
