mbunzel
What are people using for new control arm bushings? Do the bushings from the hardbodys work? 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
620 and 720 are the same. Hardbody is different, but not sure what about it. 1 Quote Link to comment
mbunzel
Still having an issue with this. I have beebanis upper control arms and I ordered the energy suspesnion bushing kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ens-7-3101r?seid=srese1&gclid=CjwKEAiA_s2lBRCe1YPXxtSe-DcSJACCIh3LX5TsGAQEnM_hO3olZYO7pRb5x06M4cthc-TXLyQW2RoC10Xw_wcB. The kit seems to be wrong the bushings are not a tight enough fit for the new control arms. Any help would be appreciated. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Speaking from hear-say here, but I've heard that sometimes the urethane bushings need the outside metal sleeve from the stock rubber bushing. Could be the issue. 1 Quote Link to comment
mbunzel
my stock rubber bushings have no outside metal sleeve.... 1 Quote Link to comment
ericsb210
Upper or lower? 1 Quote Link to comment

ericsb210
This is a picture of a 1977 lower control arm bushing. Did you perhaps knock the rubber out of the metal sleeve, leaving the metal sleeve in the control arm? 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Yeah, a lower bushing should have a sleeve like the above pic. 1 Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Do you have any pics of them and the fitment issue? 1 Quote Link to comment
mbunzel
I actually dont right now because i had to send the control arms beebani orginally sent back to him because they were the wrong ones. The o.d. of the bushing was smaller than the i.d. of the control arms making it so that the bushing were able to walk around inside the control arms and the bushings were also not long enough to span the gap for the control arms. 1 Quote Link to comment
