Justin Berni
I don't have a 510, but I had one in my old 720, a 5 panel, made it much better since my mirrors were shit, I hardly used the door mirrors once I had the 5 panel on. Quote Link to comment
edekalil
I picked up a 5 panel for a decent price shipped. Wasn't sure if I would yes it but I think I will in time just nat sure what car I'll use it in. Quote Link to comment
shacks510
I have a 5 panel. The visors are still usable, but limited. They're still available at Pep Boys too. ~$25 Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Love them..run a 5 panel on my 620 & have a 5 panel on the garage wall [man cave art[. Dont need visors..half my windshield is limo tinted. Quote Link to comment
heywier427
I switched from the wink style to the ginormous grandma style convex mirror and its way better, for me anyway. You only have to focus on 1 mirror, and it gives you all if not more than a wink style. (im gonna say more) I don't know how anyone can drive with out one! Once you use it, you will never go back to a regular sized mirror. Get a glass one, not plastic. Way better, and no waves. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
At 6'4", a wink mirror blocks too much of my vision in a datsun. Can't see stop lights, etc Quote Link to comment
mone
I have the 5 panel also in my 4dr and i still have the sun visors. I still see the Wink mirrors at oreilys/kragens for $20 new Quote Link to comment

edekalil
Then it should be fine for my needs.I had a friend who had one way back and it seemed nice. Quote Link to comment
Nuclear Water Boy
To tall? lower your seat, can't use visor? make one out of smoked plexiglass and hindge it to the bottom of the mirror with a piano hinge. Quote Link to comment
shacks510
At 6'4", a wink mirror blocks too much of my vision in a datsun. Can't see stop lights, etc I'm 6' even (at least) and even with my Z32 seats bolted pretty much directly to the floor, I have to lean forward and look up to see the light, if there isn't one off to the side I can't look at. FirstDime
i have a 4 panel and it works great considering my doors are shaved of mirrors and handles.. only thing that is annoying is no visors and it vibrates pretty good :hyper: Quote Link to comment
graveltrapp
I use a 5 panel in the 1200. Love the peripheral but if your car is low and or stiff springs they tend to vibrate a bit. This is my second one I have had in two cars. Not sure how these guys are keeping the use of there sun visors. I also have a large convex on another car and find that to work as well, still lose use of sun visors as the added width interferes with swinging them down, but they can be left in place. I have been thinking about adding a third angle support to the middle to eliminate the vibration. Quote Link to comment
