1969 Datsun 510 Bluebird - Southern California - Restoration Recommendations

Hello all!  I just purchased a 1969 Datsun 510 Bluebird SSS (left hand drive).  My 1st car and love was a Datsun 510, so I'm excited about this project.  The problem is the prior owner kept the dashtop and heater buttons/levers intact, but pulled out the whole front of dash (gauges, glovebox, radio area, ignition, etc.) and replaced with a super shitty flat piece of wood with new aftermarket gauges (about 8) and electrical toggle switches (approximately 20!)  My plan is to tear it all out, find an original complete dash and start fresh with the electrical.  I don't know if I can post a pic of this on here.

Problem is I can't do any of this on my own, along with the engine swap and restoration.  I do want to bring back this 510 to life!!!

Does anyone have recommendations of auto electrician, suspension, engine and restoration specialists that work 510's in the SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA area?  I would prefer a shop that would be able to do most of the work under one roof and a fair price.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John

The Bluebird is the JDM name for our PL510s here in North America. The Bluebird also came in a coupe variant with distinctive roof line were only built with RHD for the Japanese domestic market.

Um, sorry, but no.

In the US we got 2 door sedans and 4 door sedans and 4 door wagons.

Japan got the wonderful coupe.

Look at the 2 pics below. You can see the rear of the coupe slants much more the the 2 door sedan.

A bluebird badge is correct on a 510 just as a Violet badge is correct on a 710. It's just the JDM names for the same cars. However a Bluebird emblem does not make a PL510 a JDM coupe.

A true JDM Bluebird SSS Coupe would have LHD, dual Hitachi carbs and manifold on an L16 with a closed chamber 219 head and high compression flattop pistons.
