Where i can find new STD pistons for Datsun 1200 and maybe new conecting rods at a good price

Did you have the bores checked to see if they are too worn? If too worn (oval, tapered or just worn out) standard pistons will be too loose and the rings won't seal properly.

Yes... The block it is in perfect conditions..

 

As i said i have good used pistons (but are unmarked), so im looking for new ones 

 

Please advice me a store or something else

I can re-use the pins? The pistons have pins on it.

 

I must take them off and put them on used unmarked conecting rods...

 

 

Or i must buy new pins??

Please advice-me.

 

As i said on forum, i have some flat top pistons in good conditions without conecting rods. In other way i have some conecting rods with  normal pistons. All pistons have pins.

My question is, Can i re use the pin pistons? And put the flat pistons on conecting rods.

Or i must buy new pistons with new pins and assembly on my conecting rods?

 

Another question, give me the best way to assembly the pistons on conecting rods

If the pins are in good shape that can be re-used. They have to be pressed onto the rods. A shop with a press can do this.

Hi!

 

I m expecting my new standard pistons and pins (not flat) that i bought from ebay.

 

My cylinder head is H728 from a A14 Datsun B210gx (from California) that i bought I dont know how are the pistons from B210Gx?  I dont have them...

 

My doubt is: the valves will hit the standard pistons that i bought.

By the way where i can see the cylinder marks on conecting rods? and i can see any mark number on it 

 

I have two extra spares of conecting rods to assembly my extra engine and i will choose the better ones. I will weight them and i will see the 5grs tolerance between them

 

Early A12 block with a A14 cylinder head. I dont check them, but at first impression they match. The water and oil passengers i think they have the same size passengers.
