Gene you posted in your King Cab thread is this clutch for your nephews standard cab.  I thought you started a thread for Nick's truck.

Well installed resurfaced flywheel on my nephews motor and rockauto sent a new clutch kit with wrong throw out bearing, they sent me 1 for a 5 speed but I need 1 for a 4 speed, so now I have to find a bearing asap, hope to have motor/transmission installed next Sunday

L throw-out bearing should be the same. Probably the same for almost all Datsuns.

I've seen many sizes of L-series throwout bearings. Its confusing. Could it possibly be related to the size of the clutch disc surface..?

200mm, 220mm, 240mm

Thank you Ted!

Yes, it is directly related to the clutch cover application. Some covers have flat fingers, some of them curved. Generally speaking, a thin cover has the curved fingers. The curved finger throw out bearing cannot be used with a flat finger cover.

The easiest way to alleviate any problems when selecting a bearing, is simply to buy a whole clutch kit with a cover, bearing and bearing sleeve/retainer. That way you know it's right.

I bought a 200mm clutch kit from rockauto and throwout bearing is flatter than the 1 I took off so I will probably use it

Whenever I think that I'm out of my mind for putting this much time and money into an old Datsun, all I have to do is look some of your threads to know that I'm not nearly as whack as you are.

You're going to skin a few knuckles, stand up too fast and bump your head, hunt around the floor for the nuts and bolts you dropped, invent a few new cuss words and when you're finished you'll say "That wasn't so hard after all!"

Find someone from SoCal area that is going to Canby, see if that person knows of anyone that plans to go the Multi State Datsun Classic in Williams AZ.  It would be like the freedom train, only we could call it the parts train.  Duncan and I did this one year with a 1200 windshield.  You could even talk to people who are planning to go to JCCS....it is just a week or 2 prior to Williams.

There should be plenty of time before all of these shows to organize it. Would be pretty cool if Ratsun could pull it off.
