Yes.  Thats the "original" Hitachi type cap.  Do you have a compatible sparkloom set?  A 510 set will work if you're careful.

Hi Mike thanks!! but can I install a 510 or a 1200 cap and wires? The 510 and 1200 cap and wires and easy to get.

The 510 is an L series engine, the 1200 is an A series.... I doubt very much they are the same.

Not sure wha'st in the 411. E series? J? Even more doubtful.

Ive got the J13 in mine, well I ordered Cap, Rotor, and Wires for a 73 1200 A series figured for $18 for everything from RA wont put me out too much I will update on this once I get it. But i still welcome comments. Thanks again!

Okay, if anyone cares here is what I found. I ordered 1 1972 1200 Cap, Rotor and wires. I also ordered a 1967 upright style Datsun 411 cap. When I got them I compared them to each other and they looked identical. So I popped them on turned the key and IT fired right up. I also later added a pertronix ignition #1741 and a Flamethrower coil # 40511.
