datzenmike
If looking to buy take a look in the classifieds or post a want to buy WTB ad yourself.... http://community.ratsun.net/classifieds/category/7-electrical/?sort_key=date_added&sort_order=desc There is a link at the top of every page. Fill out all the questions and specify WTB. Include your general location so a seller can work out the shipping. The tach was an option on all years of 720 with the round dash meters, so from November '82 or almost half way through the '83 model year. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
The harness is all there and already wired into the dash pod. just slip the tach in and go. You will need a 2.2K ohm dropping resistor in line. The factory wiring, again, had the plug already there but if no tach the plug in resister is deleted. You can get one from any '80s car with a tach like the ZX or S110, S12 200sx (probably others. On the 720 the plug will be wrapped in tape and appear as a bump on the harness somewhere between the ignition coils and the back of the driver's side headlights. The resister looks like this plugged in... Quote Link to comment
HRH
D21s with tach had that resistor near the ignition coil. And "dually", not duelly. That would be like plural duels with pistols. ;) Quote Link to comment
