The_Daily_Datsun Posted October 20, 2014 Report Share Posted October 20, 2014 I have a 81 datsun 210 hatchback im seeing on napa theres a 210 section but under the engine selection it has an "1.5ltr l4" but my 210 has an a15 idk im just lost is my 210 also considered a 310? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted October 21, 2014 Report Share Posted October 21, 2014 An A15 engine is a 1.5 Liter Inline 4 cylinder so don't worry. Outwardly and on the emblems, the N American car is called a 210. In other markets of the world it's called the Sunny, 120Y, 130Y and so on. The chassis identification on all is B310. You can call your car the B310 if you want ... you won't be wrong. Likewise there are two cars about 10 years apart that are badged 510. To avoid confusion the later car (which is a 510 in name only) is most often called by its chassis name the A10. There are three generations of 200sx and to avoid confusion can be called the S10, S110 and the S12. Quote Link to comment
