4GWagon
Just got back from the u pull it lot excited to try my new find. I pulled the rubber window tracks out of a newer model Mazda 6. They pull right out no hassle. Good news is they fit great in my 510 wagon window door channels. I don't think you have to seal them in if you don't want to. (I did). Pictures to follow. Only area you have to cut to fit is the leading corner of the glass on front doors. Working on the back doors right now to see what's needed. For less than $5 a door this is a great find in my book. 1 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Napa used to sell a mid 60's Chrysler channel felt that works great for redoing the 510's window channel felt. There is some info in one of the old 510 Again issues. I can not remember which one but if I find it I will post it here. Quote Link to comment
4GWagon
Back doors required more cuts but otherwise it worked great. More than enough material from one Mazda to do all four doors. Next I'll be experimenting with making the window squeegee plastic pieces off the same Mazda to fit the goon. Quote Link to comment
tr8er
I'd love to see the finish on this experiment if you are still around. Quote Link to comment
