trjerm
hello, I made my wedge 6 1/2" L x 1 3/4" W tapering to 1 1/4" and drill a hole and installed a poly fish stringer to it to remove it. I can't seem to get it to go in straight and therefore the timing chain on the drivers side is slightly twisted and after hammering it in place I can't remove it. Any Ideas or hints. The timing is set @ tdc w/ the cam lobes @ 8 and 4 and the timing mark @ 0 and I have loosened the cam bolt slightly, but haven't removed it. thanks for any insight or hints Tom Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
With the cam retaining bolt on so the chain is secure, try turning the engine over with a socket on the crank bolt. The chain will dislodge the wedge. Quote Link to comment
