Casting Head 728 402 Round Ports

 30mm exhaust valves
 37mm intake valves

It came from Datsun B210 with this plate

classifieds-4479-0-51183300-1403552570_m

By the plate: i see the head is from a Datsun B210 with a A14 Engine with 78hp /6000rpm

The seller informs the car has 5 speeds

I ve search and i cant get an ideia.....

"A14 Round Port

FU Head
Round Port, Large Valves (came with 5-speed United States (FU) models)
* 14035-H7400 GASKET-MANIFOLD TO CYLINDER HEAD
11041-H7281 ASSY-HEAD CYLINDER A14 (FED)(GFU) 1276-0578
11041-H7281 ASSY-HEAD CYLINDER A14 CAN 0877-0578
11041-H7282 ASSY-HEAD CYLINDER A14 (FED)(GFU), CAN 0678-
11041-H7283 ASSY-HEAD CYLINDER A14 (FED)(GFU), CAN
11041-H78261 B-210 1977 A14 5-speed Hollander"

I dont know which is mine?

There are such diferences between them?

By the plate the car is not a FU Model....

I read:

"The FU model was a B210 Coupe fitted with A14 engine and 63a Five-speed transmission. The 5-speed was introduced to USA models from 1976-1/2, and to Canada models for 1977. 65 HP A14 with round ports."

The plate informs 78HP at 6000rpm and isnt a FU Model

Im confused?????

If you please i need your Knowledge contribuition....

Your Experience.....

The only thing i want is change my A12 Cylinder Head from A12 Engine/68HP (Smaller valves) to A14 Cylinder Head (Round Ports) (Larger valves) and get a better performance with my twin Mikuni 40phh carbs.

I read too

"These have quench chambers (closed chambers) but instead of being used in high-compression engines, they are designed for high swirl (for better fuel economy and improved emissions). They are used with dished pistons for 8.5:1 in 1977 and 9.0:1 in 1978 FU (4mm dish or 5mm dish). Unlike the swirl-port heads, these have unobstructed ports. The ports are lowered so that the charge is forced to swirl as it enters the chamber".

I Read somewhere that this type of heads arent perfect for performance runing

Works well between  2500 rpm to 4500rpm but can go to 6000rpm and get easly top power?

My Actual A12 Cylinder with my actual A12 Engine get easly 6000rpm 68Hp.

Recently i sent my camshaft to iskenderian to grind it and take exrta top power and i dont know which model is my A14 cylinder head?

Many thanks on advance

Hi!

Unfortunately i broke a valve guide on A14 HEAD. And i will buy all valve guides. All 8 valves (intake and exhaust) has the same diâmeter 8mm

Im searching on e-bay and i discover the valve guides fits A12, A13, A14 and A15 models, but i know some A12 cylinder heads have difrent valves diâmeter

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DATSUN-1200-B110-B210-SUNNY-A12-A13-A14-A15-BRONZE-VALVE-GUIDE-NEW-/141104938291

They fit?

Can you confirm it?

Thanks

Luis
